Discomforting Dilemma

I have less than 3 more days before the S/U period is over.

Nation Building in Singapore
The Singapore 'nation' was forged not after 1965 but during the crucible of war between 1941 and 1945". Discuss.

OR

Making Sense of Society
Why do you think ethnicity and "race" continue to be significant in the contempory world.
Why do sociologists differentiate between gender and sexuality?

Which type of questions look more grotesque?
Agad! What have I gotten myself into?!

FYI,
S/U refers to Satisfactory/Unsatisfactory. It allows students to accumulate academic units/modular credits with fear of affecting the aggregated grade average.

More Questions to Savour:

Nation Building in Singapore:
The issue of language is not in favour of linguistics per se. Discuss

Making Sense of Society:

Discuss why the strata of male stereotypes differentiate even further in the contemporary world?
Why do sociologists differentiate -G, G1, G2 and G3?

HY2241, 20th century history

1. The peace settlements which followed the "Great War" marked the end of four empires. Would it be right to claim that the First World War was the beginning of the end of modern imperialism?

2. The 19th Century was the age of Industrial Revolution. How did this legacy of industrialization and technological development most effect the first half of the 20th Century?
