Four Places you've been on vacation:
1. London, especially Leicester Square. Musicals and theatre plays are performed are performed two times daily, and as soon as one of them ends its run, it is quickly replaced by another.
My favourite musical, La Cava debuted here. But it never saw much success and its run ended in 2000.
Harrods, an upmarket departmental store was an eye opener to me. In particular, I witnessed the most perfect pineapple in existent. It looked surreally symmetrical with each "eye" occupying an equal surface area. The colour was in a rich orange and yellow tone with absolutely no blemish in sight. The greatest fruity regret I have harboured up to today is not purchasing the paragon of pineapples.
Harrods was also the place where I paid the most exorbitant toilet entrance fee, an unearthly price of one pound (S$2.70!).
2. Las Vegas. the hourly outdoor performances put up by some of the casinos simply blew me away.
3. Japan. it's a pity I can't recall much details although I remembered vividly the ornate and intricate details in their food packaging. Their penchant for bowing also made me worry for the strain on their vertebrates.
4. Switzerland. One word, time.
