The Vote
At 21 years of age, living in Aljunied GRC, I am one of the privileged few who will be able to exercise my vote, barring the possibility of a walkover. But it comes with great dismay - but no surprise - that young voters nowadays exhibit ambivalence to the imminent elections.
Political apathy is the nemesis of political freedom. While political freedom seems like an extraneous ideal in an ivory tower, people should be reminded that it, too, can affect bread-and-butter issues.
